Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to create an account?

No signup required for the Simple Builder! However, your pages will expire after 90 days. To access the Advanced Builder with premium themes and permanent storage, you'll need to create an account. Completing onboarding also helps personalize templates just for you.

What are the different feature tiers?

Anonymous: Full access to basic themes and portfolio creation.
With Onboarding: Personalized templates without confusing placeholder names.
Premium (Advanced Builder): AI Assistant, premium themes, and advanced styling controls.

How long do my pages stay online?

Anonymous users: Your pages expire after 90 days and are automatically deleted. Logged-in users: Your pages are stored permanently and never expire. You can only edit pages from the same browser where you created them (unless you have an account).

What's the AI Assistant?

The AI Assistant (PortfolioGenie) is available only in the Advanced Builder. It analyzes your existing content and provides personalized suggestions, generates professional bios, suggests skills, and gives content quality scores. It only activates after you've added substantial content to your portfolio.

Can I export my page data?

Yes! You can export your page data as a JSON file and import it later or share it with others. This feature is available in both builders.
